Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place this year on Friday, November 19, 2009 from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. The event takes place on Mondamin Street beside City Hall.

Mondamin between Talbot and Curtis will be closed to traffic. This event is organized by the St. Thomas Downtown Development Board.

The evening will feature:

• Greetings from officials
• Hot Chocolate and Timbits
• Live entertainment
• Horse Drawn Hay Rides - donations for the Caring Cupboard would be appreciated
• Door prizes for children and adults,
• The lighting of the tree outside City Hall,
• A visit from Santa Claus riding on one the St. Thomas Fire Trucks
