Parkettes

Downtown St. Thomas is accented with beautifully landscaped parkettes.

Four of these parkettes are:

  • Currah Parkette
  • Green Parkette
  • Hepburn Parkette
  • Station Parkette


Currah Parkette

Currah Parkette

Located on the corner of Flora Street and Talbot Street.

When I'm Big

“When I’m Big” this mural was painted by Dan and Peter Sawatzky. This mural was funded by the On Track Mural Committee as well as sales of the print.


Green Parkette

Green Parkette

Located on the corner of Talbot Street and White Street across from City Hall.

Elgin's Finest

“Elgin’s Finest” this mural was painted by Rick Johnston. This mural was sponsored by Branch 41 of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Elgin Regiment.


Hepburn Parkette

Hepburn Parkette

Located on the Southside of Tablot Street between Hincks Street and Southwick Street. This parkette also leads to one of many FREE 2 Hour Off Street Downtown Parking Lots.

Centre Street Baptist Church

In the background is St. Thomas Centre Street Baptist Church built in 1879. This is one of many historical Churches that can be discovered in the Downtown core.


Station Parkette

Station Parkette

Located East of St. Catherine Street on the Northside of Talbot Steet.
