The Banner Art Project is now in it's 4th year! The Banner Art Project is a joint initiative between the St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre, the St. Thomas-Elgin Tourist Association and the St. Thomas Downtown Development Board. Each year, banners and paint are made available to anyone in the community that wishes to participate, on a first come first served basis. Each year, the banners are painted with a theme in mind, this year's being the 125th Anniversary of the City of St. Thomas. Once the banners are completed, they are hung on poles throughout the Downtown as a beautiful outdoor art gallery display for the summer months.
The banners are available for purchase through the St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre and make a gorgeous addition to an office, home, garden or anywhere else you can imagine!
